Spinal Alignment
I cannot overemphasize the importance of a healthy spine. I spend a minimum of a half hour a day sitting still and working on subtle spinal alignment. This has proven to give me an extraordinarily strong spine and no back pain whatsoever. It has also provided me with an increase in circulation and overall sensory enhancement. when I align my my spine my sight, hearing, and smelling all grow exponentially. Remembering polarity, as in opposites, we know that plus and minus are both important. This, of course, is slightly metaphorical. Equal benefits to the spine are aquired on the inhale and the exhale. I encourage you to increase the amount of time you can do both. The inhale serves to lengthen the spine and the exhale serves to compress the spine. Again both are important. Big and small are equals in my book. Each serves their own purpose. So it is good to compress as well extend. Feel your spine lengthen when you breath in, and feel it compress as you breath out. It is very simple. The only difficulty is in actually doing it. It may seem so simple that one shouldn't bother. In our complex world why would something so simple be important? It goes back to polarity. Simple and complex are both useful in a well rounded reality. So try it. Spend time every day to breath deeper than ever before. Both lengthen and compress your spine and enjoy the wonderous benefits. You'll be surprised at how good it makes you feel.
